- Parents have the responsibility to be aware of and abide by all policies and procedures as outlined in the parent handbook , in notices posted in center or given to parents, and on this website. These include, but are not limited to Illness Policy, Medication Policy, Behavior Policy, Show and Tell, and Tuition Payment policies.
- Parents have the responsibility to provide necessary supplies including diapers, bedding, formula, wipes, changes of clothing, etc. in a timely manner as outlined in the parent handbook. Parents who do not bring supplies will be reminded with a phone call. We will never allow the children in our care to do without necessary supplies. If we have to provide supplies, charges will be added to account.
- Parents have the responsibility to see that their children arrive at the center in weather appropriate clothing and shoes including jackets when necessary.
- Parents have the responsibility to treat the staff , children and other families with dignity and respect and to ensure that their children treat the staff , other children and families with dignity and respect.
- Parents have the responsibility to see that their visits do not disrupt the program or other children in the program.
- Parents have the responsibility to inform the center of special circumstances or needs that may effect the care of their children.
- Parents have the responsibility to bring their children healthy enough to engage in normal activities. Children who show signs or symptoms of a contagious illness as outlined in Illness Policy should not be brought to the center.
- Parents have the responsibility to see that their children’s files are complete including an up to date Immunization Certificate.
- Parents have the responsibility to provide The Primary House with valid emergency numbers in case parents cannot be reached.
- Parents have the responsibility to inform The Primary House of changes in residence, phone numbers, and employment.
- Parents have the responsibility to inform the management of any concerns they may have in order to give The Primary House an opportunity to address those concerns.
- Parents have the responsibility to complete surveys and questionnaires pertaining to the quality of care their children receive in the center. This feedback is used to improve quality of care for all children.
- Parents have the responsibility to keep accounts current.
