- Parents have the right to expect that they and their children will be treated with dignity and respect by all members of The Primary House staff .
- Parents have the right to expect a clean and safe environment for their children.
- Parents have the right to expect healthy, nutritious meals for their children.
- Parents have the right to visit the center at any time. We have an open door policy for parents and guardians.
- Parents have the right to see daily schedules, activity plans, menus and any other information pertaining to their children or the activities of their children.
- Parents have a right to a copy of all In cident, A ccident, and I llness reports (IAI’s) and M edication Administration Request forms pertaining to their children. Parents of children age two or younger also have the right to a Daily Sheet outlining meals, diaper changes and activities each day.
- Parents have the right to an explanation of any and all policies and procedures as well as any decisions pertaining to their children.
- Parents have the right to request a meeting regarding their children. Meeting can be scheduled with caregivers and all levels of management.
- Parents have the right to voice their concerns and complaints verbally and in writing . Parents can speak to a Supervisor or Director at anytime. Parents can place written information in Parent Box located in the front of each center. These boxes are opened by Dana Monin only. Parents can also call the H OTLINE at 352-8434 anytime.
- Parents have the right to make decisions regarding potty training and weaning. The Primary House will support the decisions of parents in these manners as long as decision is developmentally appropriate.
- Parents have the right to view all inspection reports from Licensing and Regulation, the State Fire Marshall’s Office, and the Health Department. The most current inspection reports are posted in front of center.
- Families have the right to expect that they will be treated equally without regard to age, race, color, sex, ethnicity, religion, marital status, method of payment, family structure, etc.
- Parents have the right to expect that all personal and family information will be treated with confidentiality, except as outlined by law.
