We believe children of all ages require attention to their physical, social , and cognitive development to grow into secure and competent adults. To support the successful growth and development of children, we provide a program geared toward all three of these areas. We respect the fact that parents are the primary agents of socialization and support for their children and strive to aid them in their journey through parenthood. T he centers exist to support children and their families by providing a safe environment in which the children can learn and grow among their peers and adults who love them while parents are away . We want our children to look forward to attending the centers and we want our parents to feel good about having their children in our programs.
The Primary House will comply with all regulations set forth by Licensing and Regulation, the USDA Food Program, the State Fire Marshall’s Office, our local and state Health Departments and all other regulating agencies.
The Primary House follows state established ratios. The youngest child in the group determines the ratio.
- Birth-12 months 1:5
- 1 Year 1:6

- 4 Years 1:14
- 5-12 Years * 1:15
*According to state regulations, one staff member can care for twenty children (1:20) over the age of six on a part day basis. We rarely, if ever, go beyond the 1:15 ratio with our older children even though it is legal to do so.
The Primary House does not discriminate against any person regardless of race, sex, color, religion, age, or national origin. We welcome children and staff from all backgrounds and cultures. We value diversity knowing that exposure leads to acceptance and respect.
Discrimination in any form from any source will not be tolerated.
